Turkey/Family Bingo: This is a fun evening with other families to play bingo. Children win prizes donated by our families. For the turkey bingo coins for free turkeys are the prizes for some games.

Santa Shoppe: This is a little store that we set up in school where children can purchase gifts for their family on their own. Gifts range from $ .25 to $10 or more. Most average under $5. Gifts are “wrapped” by volunteers in festive bags.

Pancake Breakfast: This event is done at St. Bernard Church after Mass in the hall. Breakfast is served and we usually have a visit by Santa if he’s not too busy. Normally poinsettias are also sold. Lots of help is needed.

Child Care Night: This is a night where you can drop off your kids and go shopping while they enjoy movies, crafts, or activities. Snacks are often provided as well.

Dress Down: Special days are designated to raise money for a particular event and each parent receives a pass for their children for attending the Home & School Association Meetings. Children can then wear regular clothes to school that are appropriate – no jeans with holes, no concert or vulgar t-shirts, etc.

Family Mass: Pastry Social: Some refreshments are served after the 10:30 Mass on these days at St. Bernard Church. This is held as a thank you to the parishioners for supporting the school.

Magazine Fundraiser: A fundraiser where families sell new subscriptions and renewals to magazines.

Valentines Gala: This is typically a big fundraising event. It may include dinner, dancing, a raffle, and sometimes other entertainment. Lots of help is needed.

Yankee Candle Fundraiser: This fundraiser includes sales of Yankee Candle products.

Butter Braids: This is a fundraiser where yummy frozen pastry is sold.

Book Fairs: These are held in the spring and fall. New books are sold during the school day as well as during an evening family event on one evening. This is a minor fundraiser as well as book sale. Lots of help is needed.

Grandparents/Special Person’s day: On this day we welcome some special people to visit the children who sing and have lunch with them.

Carnival: This is an annual carnival held on the school grounds. Rides, food, and fun are provided as well as fireworks one evening. This event is shared by the home and school board and the church. Lots of help is needed

Raffle: This is a fundraising raffle held each year to raise money. Prizes include gift cards to various establishments.

Pie and Cookie Dough: Another fundraiser where these items are sold.

Bingo (Friday Night): Every Friday we put on bingo for the community. The H & S Association sells concessions to earn money. This is a state sanctioned bingo game which raises significant funds for the school. Help is needed to run this and donations of baked goods are also appreciated.
